Peak Performance: Men’s Pelvic Health

It started as a small annoyance —  and turned into something he couldn’t ignore.

He noticed it when he’d lift heavy at the gym. A quick leak.
Then again when he had to sprint to the bathroom before a meeting.
Or when intimacy felt different — harder to stay present, harder to stay connected.

The pelvic floor wasn’t something he ever thought about.
But now it was interrupting his workouts, his sleep, his sex life — and his confidence.

That’s when he came in.
And that’s when things started to change.

Men’s Pelvic Health Deserves More Than
“Try Kegels.”

At Uplift, we work with men at all stages of life — from high-performance athletes to post-prostatectomy recovery, and everything in between.

Whether you’re leaking, dealing with pressure or pain, or just feel like something is off in your core or pelvis, you deserve answers — and results.

What Would Life Look Like With a Strong, Coordinated Pelvic Floor?

  • You can lift, run, or train without leaking or needing to “brace.”

  • Your core and hips work with you, not against you.

  • You feel in control of your bladder — no last-minute rushes.

  • Intimacy feels strong, connected, and pain-free.

  • You’re sleeping through the night without multiple bathroom trips.

  • You feel steady, grounded, and confident in your body again.

You Don’t Have to Be a Certain “Type” of Guy to Get Help

We treat husbands, athletes, dads, business owners, tradesmen, and retirees — men who are tired of ignoring symptoms and ready to do something about it.

If you’re not getting the answers you deserve from Google or your doctor, pelvic PT might be the missing piece.

The Peak Performance Program at Uplift is about results — not just quick fixes.
This is expert, one-on-one care designed to get you back to doing what you love, without symptoms holding you back.

Frequently Asked Questions About Men's Pelvic Health:

Is pelvic PT really something men do?

Yes. And more men are getting help than you think — they’re just not always talking about it. We treat athletes, business owners, dads, tradesmen, and everyone in between. If you're dealing with symptoms like leaking, urgency, pelvic pain, or post-surgical issues, pelvic PT is absolutely for you.

Do you have experience treating men, or is this mostly for women?

We regularly work with male patients of all ages — and tailor treatment specifically to the male pelvic anatomy and functional goals. This isn't a one-size-fits-all approach. You’ll be treated by a licensed pelvic PT who understands your concerns and has experience working with men through every stage of life and recovery.

What kinds of symptoms do you treat in men?

  • Leaking with coughing, lifting, or running

  • Urinary urgency, frequency, or incomplete emptying

  • Erectile dysfunction (especially after surgery or related to pelvic tension)

  • Pelvic pain, tailbone pain, or groin discomfort

  • Recovery after prostatectomy

  • Trouble returning to activity, training, or sex with confidence

Is there an internal exam?

Only if it’s needed — and always with your full consent. Not all men require internal pelvic floor work. Many symptoms can be addressed with external manual therapy, movement assessment, breathing strategies, and strengthening. If internal treatment is recommended, we’ll talk through it openly so you feel informed and in control.

I’ve seen other providers and haven’t gotten answers. Will this be different?

Pelvic PT is often the missing link. We focus on the connection between your breath, core, hips, and pelvic floor — and how those systems affect pain, pressure, control, and performance. Our sessions are one-on-one, hands-on, and rooted in a full-body, long-term solution.

Will I be doing kegels the whole time?

Nope. Many men with symptoms are actually over-tightening their pelvic floor. We’ll assess what your body really needs — which could include strength, yes, but also coordination, mobility, or down-training. This is not a “just do more kegels” kind of place.

How do I get started?

Easy — call or message us to schedule an evaluation. You’ll get one-on-one time with a pelvic floor PT who listens, explains, and creates a personalized plan to get you back to what matters most.
