Pelvic health support from pregnancy through postpartum recovery

From your first trimester to life after delivery, we’ll help you stay strong, mobile, and confident — with care designed for your body, your goals, and your birth journey.

Pregnancy Wellness Care

You might be feeling pressure, heaviness, discomfort, or simply a sense that something isn’t quite right — and no one has taken the time to really listen.

Or maybe nothing feels “wrong,” but you want a plan. You want to stay active. You want to feel strong. You want to prepare your body for birth instead of just hoping it all works out.

You don’t have to wait until after delivery to get help. And you don’t have to be in pain to benefit from pelvic care.

Through our From Bump to Bloom pathway, pregnancy care is proactive — not reactive. We focus on how your pelvic floor, hips, ribcage, breath, and strength systems are working together so you feel supported now and prepared for what’s ahead.

Let’s work together to support your body during pregnancy — building strength, coordination, and confidence so you feel ready for birth and supported well beyond it.

  • Pubic symphysis pain (sharp groin pain)

  • Pelvic girdle pain

  • Hip/back pain + sciatica

  • Urinary leakage

  • Painful sex

  • Neck and upper back pain

And we support pregnancy wellness goals like…

  • Staying active safely (with smart modifications)

  • Preventing “pressure and heaviness” from becoming your new normal

  • Preparing your pelvic floor for delivery (including push prep)

  • Building strength that supports a smoother postpartum recovery

We can help with symptoms like....

What would your pregnancy and postpartum feel like with real support?

The From Bump to Bloom program is designed to walk with you through every stage — pregnancy, delivery prep, and postpartum recovery — so you’re not left guessing, Googling, or pushing through symptoms.

Imagine this…

During Pregnancy...

  • You’re able to stay active without pain, knowing what to modify and when.

  • That nagging back ache or hip pain doesn’t keep you up at night.

  • You can walk, squat, and move confidently, without pressure or leaking.

  • You feel strong and prepared, not just for birth — but for the daily demands of pregnancy itself.

As You Prepare for Birth (Vaginal or C-section)…

  • You actually know how to relax your pelvic floor, breathe through pressure, and move during labor.

  • You’ve learned positions that work for your body, not just the ones in a handout.

  • If a C-section is planned (or becomes necessary), you’re already prepped with core strategies and mobility tools that make recovery smoother.

  • You feel calm, informed, and have different strategies heading into delivery — not panicked.

After Baby Arrives…

  • You don’t feel like you’re starting from scratch.

  • Recovery starts as early as 2 weeks postpartum — even after a C-section — because you’re already lifting, moving, and caring for your baby, and your body needs strength and support right away.

  • You learn how to reconnect with your core, care for your scar, and support your pelvic floor — so leaking, pressure, and pain don’t become your “new normal.”

  • Your healing is guided, not rushed — and definitely not ignored.

And When You’re Ready to Return to Movement…

  • You’re not guessing how to rebuild strength — you have a progressive, customized plan.

  • You feel confident jumping, running, lifting, and chasing your kids without fear of symptoms.

  • You trust your core again. You trust your body again.

You don’t need to wait until things get worse.

And you don’t need to figure it out alone.

This is what real pelvic floor care through pregnancy and postpartum looks like — and it changes everything.

Let’s make sure this pregnancy and recovery feel different.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Do you do internal pelvic floor work during pregnancy or postpartum?

Only if it’s helpful — and only if you’re comfortable.
Internal pelvic floor assessment is one tool in the toolbox, but not a requirement. Many of our sessions focus on breathing, mobility, coordination, and full-body strategies to reduce symptoms and prepare your body for birth or recovery. We’ll always talk through options and make a plan together.

How fast do people usually feel a difference?

Often within the first few sessions.
For many people, early improvements show up as less heaviness, reduced pain, or more confidence with movement. True long-term change takes time (especially if you’ve been dealing with symptoms for a while), but we’ll track progress in real, functional ways — not just checkboxes.

Is it ever too early (or too late) to start pelvic floor PT?

Not at all.
We support moms from early pregnancy through years after birth. Some patients come in at 12 weeks pregnant, others at 12 months postpartum — and both can make incredible progress. If something doesn’t feel quite right, it’s worth getting checked out. And yes — we also help with birth prep, C-section recovery, and long-term pelvic health.

I had a C-section. Is this still for me?

Absolutely.
A C-section is still birth, and your body still went through major change. We help with scar tissue mobility, core recovery, pelvic floor support, and regaining strength — whether your C-section was planned, unplanned, or years ago.

What if my symptoms aren’t “that bad”?

You don’t have to wait until it’s severe.
A little leaking, pressure, or pain now can turn into something bigger down the line. Early support can prevent chronic issues, speed healing, and help you feel more like yourself again — sooner.

What if I’ve already done pelvic PT somewhere else?

That’s okay — and actually, pretty common.
We take a fresh look at your symptoms, movement, and daily life to figure out what might have been missed. You’ll get a personalized plan and one-on-one care every session. No cookie-cutter protocols here.

What does a treatment session at Uplift look like?

Every session starts with a quick check-in about how you've been doing since your last visit — what’s improved, what’s bothering you, and what’s changed.

From there, we build a plan for the day. That might include hands-on techniques to release tension, movement training to build strength and coordination, or adjusting your home routine to support your goals.

Most sessions include both manual therapy and guided exercises — no lying on a table for an hour doing clamshells.

We’ll wrap up by reviewing what to focus on at home and how it connects to feeling better in real life — whether that’s lifting your toddler, getting back to running, or sitting comfortably again.
