I’ve been a physical therapist since 2009, working with both pelvic health and orthopedic patients. After having children of my own, I became even more passionate about pelvic health, especially when I wasn’t satisfied with the postpartum care I received. I was told, 'You're a woman, what do you expect?' — and that just wasn’t good enough for me. Every woman deserves better care after pregnancy.

As I’ve gone through perimenopause myself, I’ve gained a deeper understanding of how the pelvic floor changes during this time, and I believe no woman should be struggling with pelvic floor symptoms during these transitions. It’s my passion to provide high-quality pelvic health care, especially because I know how much these issues can impact everyday life. I love taking the time to really listen to my patients, understand what brought you in, and work together to achieve your health goals.

At Uplift Pelvic Health, my mission is simple: I want every person who walks through our door with pelvic health or orthopedic issues to leave with a clear plan — a plan to address your symptoms, build lasting strength, and know exactly what to do if symptoms flare.

I graduated with my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of North Dakota and later became board certified as an Orthopedic Certified Specialist — a distinction that only 5% of physical therapists achieve. This has given me a broad understanding of how the pelvis connects and interacts with the rest of the body. I also hold a certification as a Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist.

My family is grateful to call Ball Ground home, and we love being a part of the Jasper community. Whether it’s through Uplift Pelvic Health, activities my kids are involved in, or enjoying hikes in Pickens County, we’re thankful for our life here
